The Purpose of Communication

Communication is an essential aspect of life. Humans, for instance, may not be able to interact, solve fundamental problems, or make progress without communicating with one another. Hence the importance of communication cannot be trivialized. When humans communicate, they may be fulfilling one or more purposes. Some of these purposes are listed below.
